Former Chelsea manager Antonio Conte is reportedly interested in replacing Jose Mourinho as permanent gaffer at Premier League giants Manchester United.
After the appointment of Ole Gunnar Solskjaer as interim manager following the sacking of Jose Mourinho, United chiefs are expected to hire a permanent man at the end of the season.
Tottenham Hotspur manager Mauricio Pochettino is now said to be the leading candidate together with former Real Madrid handler Zinedine Zidane.
And according to the latest report by Telegraph UK, Antonio Conte is interested in handling Manchester United five months after being dismissed at Stamford Bridge.
The report added that Antonio Conte's daughter is still schooling in London with hopes that he gets another Premier League club to steer.
Conte has successfully picked up the work left behind by Mourinho once before at Chelsea, winning the Premier League title in his first season in charge and the FA Cup in his second and final campaign.
The 45-year-old Norwegian football manager replaces former manager Jose Mourinho who was thrown out of the club because of poor results.
He will be joined by Mike Phelan as first-team coach, together with Michael Carrick and Kieran McKenna this season at Old Trafford.
