Tuesday's weather: Another hot day for most of SA

A heat wave with persistently high temperatures is expected in places over the Central Karoo until Tuesday.
The SA Weather Service also warns of extremely high fire danger conditions over the interior of the Northern Cape, the central Karoo and the south-western parts of the Free State. 
In addition, extremely hot conditions are expected in places over the western parts of the Eastern Cape.
The weather in your region: 
Gauteng is expected to be partly cloudy and warm with isolated thundershowers.
Morning fog patches are expected in the eastern part of Mpumalanga; otherwise, partly cloudy and warm to hot conditions, with isolated showers and thundershowers, are expected in the Lowveld.
In Limpopo, expect morning fog patches - otherwise, expect partly cloudy and warm to hot weather conditions, with isolated afternoon showers and thundershowers, in the southern part of the province.
The North West and Free State will be partly cloudy and warm to hot, with isolated afternoon thundershowers; while the Northern Cape can expect fine and hot to very hot weather conditions, with isolated afternoon thunderstorms in the extreme east. Also, partly cloudy condition with fog patches are expected along the coast, where it will be cool. The wind along the coast will be moderate to fresh north-westerly moderating by evening and becoming south-westerly.
In the Western Cape, expect partly cloudy conditions in places with fog patches along the west coast. Otherwise, expect fine and warm to hot, but very hot conditions in places in the east. The wind will be moderate south-westerly along the south coast, otherwise fresh north-westerly.
The
western half of the Eastern Cape is expected to be partly cloudy and hot to very hot, with isolated showers and thundershowers but scattered in the north, where it will be extremely hot. The wind along the coast will be light east to north-easterly, becoming fresh to strong south-westerly from the afternoon.
As for the
eastern half of the Eastern Cape, expect morning fog patches over the high grounds; otherwise, partly cloudy and warm to hot with isolated showers and thundershowers, but scattered where it will be very hot. The wind along the coast will be fresh to strong north-easterly. 
In KwaZulu-Natal, expect morning fog patches in places over the interior, otherwise partly cloudy and warm but hot in places. It will become cloudy in the west with afternoon isolated showers and thundershowers. The wind along the coast will be moderate to fresh north-easterly, becoming strong from the south by late morning.
