Denrele visits Goldie’s graveside, pays emotional tribute to her

It has been six years since the entertainment industry lost one of its finest female singers, Goldie, to the cold hands of death. As many celebrated the Valentine’s Day On Thursday, February 14, popular Nigerian TV presenter, Denrele Edun, spent his day remembering his late friend.
The death of the female singer on February 14, 2013, had been a big shock to her family, friends and lovers of her kind of music across the country.
In an emotional post on his social media page, Denrele, wrote a heartfelt tribute to the late singer who used to be his closest female friend when she was alive.
He started off by posing a series of rhetorical questions in which he had wondered what the singer’s last moment felt like before she took her exit from the world.
The presenter also reminisced on the life and times of his late friend, describing her as one with a good soul, who was full of love and determination, and who never failed to take the opportunity to encourage him to always be a better version of himself.
He concluded his post by biding his late friend goodbye once again, and praying her to continue resting in the good hands of the lord.
In a picture that accompanied his message, the singer was spotted by the graveside of the female songstress.
The death of a loved one usually leaves one with a void that may seem almost impossible to fill. We pray the family and friends of the deceased would continue to find the strength to deal with the absence of their loved one.
