Premier League champions Manchester City produced stunning performance on Wednesday night, February 20, to come back from behind to beat Schalke 04 3-2 in Champions League tie.
The hosts will have themselves to blame for losing this match despite Manchester City playing with 10 men towards the end of the match, but still scored twice at the death.
Manchester City netted the first goal in the 18th minute through Sergio Aguero who benefited from a superb assist from David Silva.
But the hosts restored parity in the 38th minute when Nicolas Otamendi handled the ball in the box and Nabil Bentaleb stepped forward to score the goal.
Schalke scored their second goal in the 45th minute, and it was also a penalty when Fernandinho pulled Selif Sane by the shirt and Nabil Bentaleb scored again to give the home team a 2-1 lead.
The home fans thought their team would win this game not until the 85th minute when Leroy Sane netted a powerful free kick for Manchester City.
Goalkeeper Ederson Moraes then provided a superb assist for Englishman Raheem Sterling to score the winning goal for Manchester City at the death.
